What this policy covers
This policy only covers the fees you pay to AfgPath for our services. The first consultation is free, so there is nothing to refund for it.
Refunds by stage of work
Our work is done in stages. If you cancel for any reason while the work is in progress, 90% of the fee is refunded. All terms are set out fully in your written contract.
If the university does not admit you
We never accept a file without a full check. Before signing a contract, all of the applicant's documents and conditions are checked against the university's latest requirements, and we only accept files that meet them. If the university still does not admit you for any reason, your entire fee is refunded with no deductions. This can only happen because of a sudden change in the policies of the destination country or its ministry of education.
Visa decisions
Visa decisions are made by the embassy and we cannot guarantee them. A visa refusal is therefore not in itself a reason for a refund of work already done, unless your written contract says otherwise. If your visa is refused, we explain the reasons and your options honestly — for example applying again with a stronger file.
We work directly with universities
We obtain admissions directly from the universities' admissions offices, without any other agent in between. We will soon start working as the official representative of our partner universities. From then on, all payments — from our service fee to tuition — will be made directly to the university's official account, which gives you more security and transparency. The refund terms for those payments will then be set by the university and stated in your agreement.
When you get a full refund, whatever the stage
- If AfgPath does not deliver a service included in your agreement, all your fees are refunded.
- If we find at the start that the route is not realistic for you and we cannot continue, all your fees are refunded.
- If AfgPath stops the work for its own reasons, all your fees are refunded.
When a refund is not possible
- Work that has already been completed and delivered.
- Fees paid to universities, translators, legalisation offices, embassies or visa centres — these follow their own refund rules.
- Cases where the applicant gave false information or false documents.
- Cases where the applicant does not send the requested documents or does not respond, so the work cannot continue.
How to request a refund
- Send your request by email to info@afgpath.com or on WhatsApp, with your full name and the date of payment.
- We confirm the stage your file has reached and the amount based on your agreement.
- The refund is paid within 3–5 business days to the same account you paid from.
Currency and transfer costs
Refunds are made in the currency and amount you paid. Bank or transfer fees and exchange-rate differences that are outside our control may reduce the amount you receive.
Your written contract
Before any payment you sign a written contract. Every clause — the price, the services, and the refund terms above — is explained fully and clearly in it. If the contract differs from this page, the contract applies.
Questions or disagreements
If you have a question about a refund or disagree with a decision, contact us through any of our channels — WhatsApp, Telegram or info@afgpath.com. We are available and follow up 24 hours a day, look at your case again and reply in writing.
